Youth Voice & Policy

Amplifying the voices that matter most. We create platforms for marginalized youth to engage directly with community leaders and policymakers.

Anti-Drug Campaigns

Building resilience and breaking chains. Addressing the rising challenge of substance abuse in urban slums, our peer-led campaigns focus on prevention, education, and support.

Why it matters

Youth unemployment in urban slums remains over 30%, with substance abuse, especially tramadol and marijuana, emerging as top health concerns in marginalized communities (Ghana Health Service, 2023). Without targeted, context-sensitive interventions, this growing demographic risks being left behind in Ghana’s development.

Transforming Potential into Progress

"Before joining the Skills Bootcamp, I felt invisible. I had the drive but no direction. Today, I am running my own small business and mentoring others in my community. UPI didn't just give me skills; they gave me a future."

- Kwame O., Youth Participant

"The anti-drug campaign saved my brother's life. It wasn't just about saying 'no' to drugs; it was about finding a community that actually cared about us. Uncharted Paths showed us that we are worth fighting for."
